Our home is the very large and fancy Righa Royal - I know it's the best in town because the picture gallery of past V.I.P. guests features one K. Rudd!! I am dying to texta a moustache, or worse, on that picture. Our massive room on 21st floor (with a wasteland of unused space) has an enormous picture window looking over a superb view of Hiroshima Castle, moat and the gallery/museum precinct, with the mountains as a back-drop. Pillows are tiny with a choice between down or wheat husk filling. The list of Conditions of the Room provides most amusing reading, and there are lovely tea cups.
Wireless internet is approx $A12 a day (cheap by world standards I know, but...)
But things in the bathroom have deteriorated somewhat - we are now used to handling the toilet seat again, only half the mirror is heated, the towels are even smaller, and THERE IS NO SOAP AT ALL!!! We must use a dispenser of hand soap at the basin, and one of those awful 3 in 1 detergent dispensers in the shower
