For many years Anne has been a member of the Committee of Management of Muscular Dystrophy Australia http://www.mda.org.au/ where fund-raising for research underpins everything the organisation does as it works towards finding a cure and increasing awareness of this insidious disease.

Having recently appointed a Wings Away General Manager, Anne is now able to undertake some discretionary non-business related activities and is thrilled to be participating in the MD 2011 challenge - an 11 day trek around Mt Blanc, one of the world's classic hikes. click here for itinerary & map

Anne will join a group of 16 trekkers whose steps will be sponsored by friends and colleagues.  (Anne's personal sponsorship currently stands at $10,760 contributing to a very impressive group total of $186,367).

The trek around Mt Blanc is one of Europe's best mountain walks offering spectacular views of glaciers, green mountain meadows and snow capped peaks.  Commencing in Chamonix France, the group will trek through France, Italy and Switzerland.  This challenge is not for the faint hearted so, in readiness, Anne is maintaining a rigorous fitness regime.
